What you can expect during a massage
Before your massage session starts, your therapist will ask you about your symptoms, your medical history and also ask you to complete a consent form. The therapist will then explain the kind of massage and techniques they will use.
After this, the therapist will leave the room to allow you to undress. You will then lie on a therapy table and cover yourself with a towel. There are other possible variations such as a chair massage, or massage with loose fitting clothes on and all of your options can be discussed with your therapist.
A massage session will be individually tailored to your needs and will last a minimum of 1 hour.
